Burmese Kitchen

Burmese Kitchen

A wonderful stop to experience some flavorful Burmese food, the Burmese Kitchen is an excellent example of the international flavors that have been able to thrive in the multicultural mix of San Francisco’s culinary scene.

Industrie Denim

One of the best experiences you could possibly have shopping for jeans—a place that carries some of the best names, cares about the craftsmanship, has a knowledgeable staff that wants to help you, and best of all, a butt-cam in your fitting room so you can make sure that your bum looks great. The bigger price tag for a pair of jeans that you might find here is certainly worth it for you to feel confident and have some pants that will last for a long time.

Ethos is a small boutique with a particular selection. The mother-daughter team that runs it is very selective about their collection, pulling together impeccable style, grace, and sophistication in a calm, chic and organized atmosphere. Come to add a stunning piece (or a few) to your collection—be it clothing or accessories.

From their denim to their tops to their jackets—and everything in between—AllSaints is a beacon of originality and style. AllSaints is a must stop for any San Francisco trip plan with a bent towards fashion—no matter what your style is. Here you’ll be able to find extravagant pieces, or understated items.

Madewell is a wonderful shop with an excellent collection of clothing. With everything from adorable dresses to awesome denim (and everything in between like hats, boots, glasses, and bags), whether you’re looking to add a few pieces to liven things up or you’re hoping for a complete wardrobe overhaul, you and a spree at Madewell could be a match made in shopping heaven.

Top Chef Casey Thompson’s Aveline has been a success since its conception. Combining the best of new California cuisine, artistry, and innovation with the southwestern flavors and influences of her upbringing and training in Dallas, Thompson truly offers something unique to San Francisco’s culinary scene.

The European

The European - An amazing amalgam of old and new, class and authenticity, style and approachability, The European brings a unique spin to the San Francisco bar scene, harkening back to the days of Americans flocking to Europe to escape Prohibition’s stifling grasp. Come for an expertly crafted cocktail.

Bartlett Hall

Bartlett HallIf you’re a night owl and like your haunt bathed in warm light, speckled with leather topped bar stools, and lined with hardwood tables, then we’d highly recommend you head over to Bartlett Hall, grab a beer, hole up, and then maybe grab another drink.

DAY 2Local Art Expert San Francisco - Jeani Hunt-Gibbon

A trendy Italian restaurant that has become a local favorite, come to Beretta for artisan thin crust pizzas, creative pastas and great cocktails. The atmosphere is lively, casual and welcoming.

The American Conservatory Theater is a San Francisco theater legend and is currently the longest running theater group in San Francisco (having opened its doors as a company in 1910). Today A.C.T. puts on top notch performances with everything from the classics of great American playwrights to brand new world premiers. This exceptional theater company is housed in the beautiful and grandiose Geary Theater in Union Square’s Theater District. The Geary Theater is a historic landmark registered in the National Register of Historic Places.

Burritt Room

A really comfortable and classy bar that seems like it belongs in a noir film. Our Local Expert Jeani Hunt-Gibbon recommends that you have Josh fix you up a Berlinetta. Relax and absorb the sophistication at the Burritt Room on an evening in San Francisco.

Ragazza is a neighborhood pizza joint with a great atmosphere, including a heated patio! Seasonal ingredients paired with Italian technique is a recipe for a uniquely San Franciscan take on this classic cuisine.

The Chapel

The Chapel

Inside a renovated chapel, catch a live show or even a movie screening. Located in the Mission District, The Chapel is a small venue and bar that allows visitors a taste of the local culture.

Lucky 13

Classy bars are wonderful, but sometimes you just want to get a buzz going in a no-frills dive. Lucky 13 is there for you with 26 beers on tap, a pool table, an arcade, an outdoor patio, and a juke box… Did we mention that they also have free Goldfish and popcorn to munch on? Yeah, if you need that kind of night.
